Wednesday 17th September - 'Allo 'Allo! tour / Richard Gibson in Belgium

The 'Allo Allo! tour is well underway and yours truly went along to see
the show in Blackpool on Monday 8th September and wasn't disappointed.
Vicki Michelle and Jeffery Holland were the stars of the show (and
rightly so) heading a very talented cast; James Rossman (Herr Flick),
Nell Jerram (Helga),
Claire Andreadis (Mimi) and Martin Carroll
(Bertorelli) were particularly good. If you're a fan of the series and you
want lots of laughs then you can't really go wrong. Scroll down for
tour dates...
Richard Gibson recently attended the 2nd Ostend Film Festival in
Belgium to promote BBC comedy. Many Flemish newspapers and tv
TV
channels interviewed him - a video interview with Richard (and
briefly Herr Flick!) can be found here (with thanks to Pieter).
Look out soon for an episode guide update!

Exciting news if you're in dear old Blightly because Universal Playback have confirmed that the
final two series of 'Allo 'Allo! will be available to buy as a three disc Region 2 DVD set on 26th
December 2008. We expect the box set will also contain the 1991 Christmas Special that
bridged the seventh and eighth series, but no confirmation about whether 1994's 'The Best of
'Allo 'Allo' or 2007's 'The Return Of 'Allo 'Allo' will make an appearance on shiny disc. Many
online retailers are now taking pre-orders, the cheapest prices hovering around the £16 mark.
See right for the provisional cover artwork (click for bigger image).
Meanwhile, many thanks to Tina who has sent us two more scans of the Croatian DVD covers
and to Anders Lundin of Sweden who
has very kindly got in touch to share front cover images
of the Swedish DVD releases. These can be found on the Merchandise page. This website
thrives on the support of 'Allo 'Allo! fans and we're always glad to hear from you if you have
